Pay Fees by Credit Card

Credit cards

Any fees due to the Clerk, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, may be paid by credit card using the Case Management/Electronic Case Filing (CM/ECF) system. The Court continues to accept payments by check or cash. The Court also accepts case-initiating documents and bar applications and any associated fees electronically. Users must register for a Fourth Circuit filing account to pay fees by credit card. Once logged into CM/ECF, the system utilizes PACER to process payments.
