Appellate ECF account holders may submit requests and pay the associated fee by credit card for certificates of good standing, duplicate admission certificates, certification of documents, oral argument CD, copies of published opinions, record retrieval and copies of case documents.
Pay Miscellaneous Fees Electronically
- Turn off pop-up blockers in your browser.
- Log in to CM/ECF.
- Once the CM/ECF Startup Page appears, select Utilities.
- Select Pay Fees.
- Select Certificate of Good Standing,Certification of Documents, Duplicate Admission Certificate, Copy Fees or Oral Argument CD, as appropriate.
- The submission window will appear.
- Read the instructional text.
- Select Browse.
- The Select PDF document dialog box will appear.
- Locate and select the the PDF file containing your request.
- Select Open.
- The file path will appear in the Document text box.
- Enter a description of the document.
- If you have additional related documents to upload, select Browse again.
- Once all documents have been uploaded, select Pay Fee and Submit.
- The Manage My Account window will open in PACER (Note: You may be required to enter your PACER password before this screen appears).
- Review the payment amount and Select a Payment Method.
- Select Next.
- Complete the Court Specific information.
- Enter your email address for an email confirmation of the payment if it's not already populated.
- Check the Authorization box.
- Select Submit.
- The System will process your request.
- The Payment Successful window will appear. NOTE: Only click Submit if you are not redirected to CM/ECF.
- The redirect page will return to CM/ECF and provide the receipt. Select Print to print the receipt.
