The Circuit Executive for the Fourth Circuit announced today that the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit has selected Ashley A. Edwards of Charlotte, N.C., to fill a Bankruptcy Judge position in the Western District of North Carolina that will be vacated by Judge J. Craig Whitley upon his retirement in June 2024. The appointment is contingent upon a successful background investigation.
